Miss Tourism Nigeria World 2014
A sizeable number of media houses and personality were there.
The show started with the red carpet. Spice TV, Soundity, Ontv, Ovation TV, Motv, Goldmyne TV, Fabfairies of course and so on were there to cover the event. The red carpet was filled with beauty pageant Queens, like Face of the world, miss Famous Imo, Best Model Nigeria, Face of West Africa Fashion Awards, former Miss Tourism Nigeria Queen Collete Nwadike, and so on, performing artistes, family, friends and wellwishers.
After the red carpet, the show started with a pre-show hosted by Ogbaloi James Idowu and Tobia Daniel. Then Miss Tourism Universe who is a designer showcased her designs using the contestants as her muse. There were performances by artiste.
After that, the real show began, the hosts were Von Apochi and Tomi Salami. Contestants came out in short black dresses. There was a performance then the contestants came out for their unity dance in their traditional attires.
Awards were given to some brands and all. Then it was time for the bikini show. The contestants strutt the stage in bikinis designed by Dennis Fashion Ltd alongside a performing artiste, Toby Grey. Then their were performances by Selebobo and Naomi.
Awards were given out once again. Then another performance by Nigerian Idol season 4 winner Evelle.. Contestants came out in their evening wears and some of the contestants were given awards.

Celina Eban(Miss Osun)- Miss Congeniality.
The top sixteen finalist were announced based on the number of votes they were able to garner. They are;

Miss Tourism South West- Akanbi Abiodun (Miss Lagos State).
Miss Tourism South South- Bassey Inyene(Miss Akwa Ibom).
Miss Tourism North- Solace Kalu(Miss Kano).
Miss Tourism East- Isabella Okafor (Miss Ebonyi).
So the winners are
5th place(Miss Tourism Nigeria Culture)- Miss Akwa Ibom
4th place(Miss Tourism Africa)- Miss Ebonyi
3rd runner up(Miss Tourism Nigeria Continent)- Miss IMO
2nd runner up(Miss Tourism Nigeria Planet)- Miss Osun
1st runner up(Miss Tourism Nigeria Globe)- Miss Bauchi
Winner(Miss Tourism Nigeria)- Miss Abuja.
The planning was in all good, lighting and sound was very OK and the turn out was good.
